This bag was using and upcycled IKEA bag and scrap canvas. It is completely handsewn. It is designed to be worn in and carry everything you may need throughout your day. It comfortably fits a large ipad and has plenty of pockets on the outside, as well as a hidden bag divider pocket, for other art supplies. With carful consideration for craftsmanship, the bag recontetualizes the disposable, careless nature of IKEA bags and makes them into something permanent and slowly consumed. It also puts the brand giant IKEA into a small, creative context. Easy to identify, but full of new ideas and nuance.
